Marco Antonio Barbosa Ferreira
Associate Professor
Marco Antonio Barbosa Ferreira received a Bachelor's degree and Licentiate in chemistry from University of São Paulo in 2005 before obtaining his M.Sc. in 2008, and PhD in 2012 in the University of Campinas with Luiz Carlos Dias. In 2013 he joined the faculty of the Federal University of São Carlos. He then moved to University of Utah in 2018 for postdoctoral work with Matthew S. Sigman. His research group has focused on the development of new synthetic methodologies and reaction mechanism.
